(Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) Looking for a Sales Manager (Corporate) for a 5 star luxury hotel
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Liaise with Director of Sales and Marketing and Senior Sales Manager on a daily basis
• Liaise with Reservations & Revenue Manager for all reservation confirmations
Administration
• Preparation of proposals, drafting and issuing contracts, communications, database input and filing
• Preparing of month end reports and monthly forecasts.
• Identify new sources of residential accommodations / special events / group bookings / catering sales
Sales
• Achieve minimum of sales calls and site inspections per week in accordance with the business plan.
• Lead generation and setting up new business sales calls/appointments
• Communicate and follow through with other hotel departments to ensure that the sales commitment is being fulfilled
• Obtain market intelligence and information gathering of benefit to the hotel.
Management
• Assist in the preparation of the departmental budget
• Comply with and ensure adherence to all of the hotel's policies and procedures
• Maintain a good working relationship with all staff and colleagues throughout the hotel and sister properties
• To maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
• Develop methods and initiatives to increase departmental revenue within the sales team
• Communicate effectively with all other departments
• Attend all meetings and/or training sessions as required.
• Identify opportunities to innovate service delivery and product offering to meet and exceed client expectations.
